Help AWARE to find its voice again

They preached racism, anti-Catholicism, anti-Communism, nativism, and anti-Semitism. They warned the blacks that they must respect the rights of the white race "in whose country they are permitted to reside". They kept control of access to the better-paying industrial jobs but opposed unions. They had major political influence in several states and was influential mostly in the center of the country. At its peak, their membership comprised 20% of the adult white male population in many broad geographic regions. There was an instance when they decided to turn Anaheim, California, into a model city. They secretly took over the City Council, but the city conducted a special recall election and Klan members were voted out.

Lucky for the world, Ku Klux Klan is something you only read about in history books now.

Now don't let the history repeats again, not here in Singapore, not under the name of AWARE.

There will be an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) come 2 May, Saturday, where all AWARE members will get a chance to vote.
